What we provide

Driftcheck reads your Stripe data via a restricted, read-only key you supply, optionally cross-references it with your own application-DB CSV, and produces a report (the “Stripe Leak Audit”) of webhook delivery failures, subscription state mismatches, and related drift. The free audit is one-shot. The paid monitor ($29/mo or $290/yr) re-runs it on a schedule and sends digests.

What you agree

  • You have authority to run an audit against the Stripe account the key belongs to.
  • You won’t use Driftcheck to attempt to compromise, fingerprint, or attack any third party’s Stripe account.
  • You’ll keep your billing email and your Stripe key current. If the key is rotated or revoked, scheduled audits will fail until you supply a fresh one.

Methodology and accuracy

Dollar-impact figures in our reports are directional estimates. They’re derived from public Stripe API fields plus your CSV using the heuristics documented in each PDF. We never claim hard precision and you shouldn’t treat the numbers as accounting-grade.

Cancellation

You can cancel the paid monitor any time from the Customer Portal link in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

Liability

We’re a small team. We provide Driftcheck on an “as-is” basis and our liability is capped at the amount you’ve paid us in the prior twelve months (which is $0 for free-audit users). Specifically, we’re not liable for financial loss caused by acting on, or not acting on, a finding in our reports — they’re a starting point for investigation, not a substitute for your own due diligence.
